United Nations: World Ocean Day 2026
The 13th annual Photo Competition for UN World Oceans Day is now open for entries in four categories: Connecting Oceans, Big and Small Underwater Faces, Underwater Seascapes, and Above Water Seascapes.
Winning images will be announced on June 8th in New York during the UN World Oceans Day event, and the competition is free and open to the public.

Sundance Institute: Sandbox Fund

Catapult Film Fund: 2026 Catapult Development Grant
This grant provides early‑stage support to nonfiction filmmakers who have a compelling story and secured access, helping them create a fundraising piece that can unlock larger production funding. It is open to independent documentary filmmakers working on films of at least 28 minutes and supports writing, shooting, and editing needed to advance the project.
